How long does it take finalise an estate?
If all parties cooperate and provide all required information, this should take a maximum of 6 months from the time of death of the deceased.
How Long Does It Take to Get a Divorce?
If parties are civil and amicable with each other, and reach a settlement agreement, it can take a maximum of 4 months. However, if parties are at logger heads, it can take up to 3-5 years.
What Is a Letter of Authority?
This is a letter issued by the Master of the High Court to a person/s authorised to administrate the deceased’s estate.
